Third Orbit Labs LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates Recipe Grab (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

Data stored on your device:

• Recipes you save (titles, ingredients, instructions, images, source URLs)
• Grocery lists and shopping items
• Recipe collections and organization data
• App preferences and settings

All of the above is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not have access to this data, and it is never uploaded to our servers.

Data sent to third-party services:

• When you import a recipe by URL, the URL and extracted page content are sent to AI services (OpenAI and Google Gemini) for recipe extraction and parsing.
• When you import a recipe from a photo or camera, the image content is sent to AI services for text recognition and recipe extraction.

This data is sent solely to provide the App's core functionality and is not used for advertising, analytics, or profiling.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services to provide its functionality:

• OpenAI — AI-powered recipe extraction and parsing. OpenAI Privacy Policy

We encourage you to review each provider's privacy policy. We do not control how these services handle your data beyond what is described above.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use information solely to:

• Provide and improve the App's functionality
• Process your recipe import and extraction requests

We do not use your information for advertising, tracking, analytics, or profiling. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. We do not maintain user accounts or require registration.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on-device using Apple's SwiftData framework and is protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data remains on your device for as long as you use the App. To delete all data, simply delete the App from your device. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data permanently.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email below so we can take appropriate action.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
